Today the United States recognizes National Trafficking Awareness Day.  HTF is helping create a future of hope for restaveks (child slaves) in Haiti through the Rejoice School.

Due to poverty and discrimination, restaveks do not have the opportunity to attend school.  The Rejoice School hosted at Lekole Sen Trinite in Jacmel provides about 25 restaveks with basic education, socialization, at least one meal a day, and invaluable encouragement.
