When we host our annual camp Fet Bondye Bo Lanme, we’re all about fun for the sake of it.  But we also like to leave something behind that will help the families of our campers move forward in hope and sustainability with dignity.  This effort started with hygiene kits that were crucial to combatting the cholera outbreak in 2010.  Then we added water bottles for the campers to have access to clean water while they were running around in the heat.  This year campers also planted trees for the vitality of their own community.  

For our fifth annual camp we also distributed hundreds of stoves as part of that effort.  These stoves, that were made in Haiti, will help save money and reduce the use of charcoal.  Last week families received training on how to use the stoves and got to carry them home.
